Soccer attracts people’s eyeballs in recent years with its excitement. Football not only has great power on mental and physical healthiness, but also has wonderful influence on players’ destiny.e-print also believes in sports’dominant power on society, so we have actively joined various charity sport activities to provide assistance for underprivileged people by sponsorship and donation. On July 25th and 26th, e-print and e-banner combined as a team to join “Homeless World Cup Fundraising Tournament”, an annual international football match jointly organized by Street Soccer Hong Kong, Wofoo Social Enterprises and Society for Community Organization. It was so exciting that e-print x e-banner team successfully raised fund and attained the champion of “Cares Cup”!
Tournament was divided into preliminaries, Cup and Shield matches, which were held in two daysin Mong Kok Macpherson Playground. e-print and e-banner soccer team was constituted from 15 athletes. After fierce struggle and six matches, e-print x e-banner team finally awarded the champion of “Cares Cup” with their unity and outstanding performance!
This 4-a-side football fundraising tournament aims to support the Hong Kong Team to join the Amsterdam 2015 Homeless World Cup and other related training programmes.The “Homeless World Cup” is an annual, international football tournament, use of football as a trigger to inspire and energize people who are homeless and excluded to take a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent their country and change their lives forever. The impact is consistently significant year over year with 73% of players changing their lives for the better by coming off drugs and alcohol, moving into jobs, education, homes, training, reuniting with families and even going on to become players and coaches for pro or semi-pro football teams.
